Restoration of four fireplace in Late Victorian Townhouse

Ground Floor-Front and Back Rooms:

Supply and installation of antique Carrara marble corbel surround, slate hearth and slip set. Stove supplied and fitted by others.

1st Floor Front Room:

Victorian marble surround with tiled panels and cast iron inner section.
Marble surround cleaned and restored in situ. Cast iron insert restored in situ, including supplying and fitting replacement bars, grate and hood. The iron had a graphite finish applied and buffed. A template slate hearth was supplied and fitted.

2nd Floor Bedroom:

Marble flat top surround and tiled cast iron insert with missing parts.

Fireplace was removed; the marble surround was stripped of paint, cleaned re-polished and component parts boxed together.
The insert was stripped of paint; replacement bars and tile set were supplied. On completion of restoration a slate hearth was supplied and fitted with the fireplace.
