Project Description
Early Victorian 4 storey town house needing works to 2 fireplaces.
Ground Floor – Front Room:
Victorian Carrara marble running frieze flat top surround with original cast iron arched insert.
The Fireplace was removed. Marble surround was fully restored, including cleaning, re-boxing and polishing.
The cast iron insert was stripped of paint, cleaned and a graphite finish applied and buffed.
A slate hearth was supplied and the fireplace re-fitted.
Grounds Floor – Front Room:
Painted Victorian Carrara marble running frieze flat top surround with original cast iron arched insert.
The fireplace was removed. Marble surround was stripped of paint then fully restored including cleaning, polishing and re-boxing together.
The insert was stripped of paint, a new firebrick cast, a set of original front bars were supplied and fitted, and a graphite finish applied then buffed.
A slate hearth was supplied and the fireplace re-fitted.
