As Marble Masons we have been repairing Marble Fire Surrounds since we started our business and have been collecting rare marbles, which are no longer quarried. This enables us to effect repairs to Period Fireplaces in the correct materials, as the pictures show on Case Studies.
On the example of a Full Restoration which can been viewed on video as well as pictures, we had to carve a new Key Stone in Antique Marble as well as restoring the rest of the surround.
